Craig A. Mohney, MD, FAAD, FASMS

A message from Dr. Craig A Mohney:

 As a board-certified dermatologist and owner of Southwest Michigan Dermatology, I specialize in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. I enjoy getting to know each of my patients and making sure they have the best possible experience here. I care for each of my patients like I would my own friends and family.

I have received extensive training in surgical and cosmetic dermatology. In 1992 I graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Next in 1995, I acquired my internal medicine residency training at Michigan State University Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I went on to my dermatology residency training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and became board-certified in dermatology in 1998.

I am a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and the American Society for Mohs Microsurgery (FASMS).

In 1998, I joined with Dr. David Semler to start Southwest Michigan Dermatology. Serving the Southwest Michigan community in Portage, Allegan, and Paw Paw is a great honor.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jean, and our four children. I also enjoy spending time outside hunting, fishing, or other recreational sports.
